Фильмы и телешоу, которые так захватывали в юные 80-е и молодые, дерзкие 90-е, иногда вдруг вспыхивают, звучат в голове клочками неясных воспоминаний, обрывками цитат, «мечтами о прошлом».
«Старая видеокассета» – это светлый и немного грустный взгляд назад, где шуршат плёнкой видеокассет наши 1980-е и 1990-е.
В композиции использован фрагмент-цитата из популярного фантастического телешоу 1990-х «Ох уж эта наука» (Weird Science).
Помимо оригинальной версии релиз включает в себя house-ремикс от DJ Oblomov. Это уже второе наше сотрудничество с замечательным самарским музыкантом, диджеем и радио-ведущим (Сергей делал ремикс на предыдущий сингл Spacebirds - «Неоновая пятница»).
Автор обложки – художник, комиксист Алим Велитов.

Movies and TV shows that were so captivating in the young 80s and the young, daring 90s sometimes suddenly flare up, sound in my head like scraps of obscure memories, fragments of quotes, “dreams of the past”.
“Old Video Cassette” is a light and a little sad look back, where our 1980s and 1990s rustle with the tape of video cassettes.
The composition uses a fragment-quote from the popular science fiction TV show of the 1990s “Weird Science".
In addition to the original version, the release includes a house remix by DJ Oblomov. This is already our second collaboration with a wonderful Samara musician, DJ and radio host (Sergey did a remix for the previous Spacebirds single - "Neon Friday").
The author of the cover is the artist, comics artist Alim Velitov
